Piper Pelligrini is an artist, activist, and steward of the land. She resides on Apache, Diné, and Pueblo land.

Born in New England, she travelled West after completing her art degree. She fell in love with the rugged landscapes and vast open spaces, and soon began working on cowboy ranches. Piper is passionate about regenerative agriculture blended with traditional cowboy methodology, and finds home amidst like-minded ranchers and agrarians who care deeply about local foodways, supporting small, woman-owned businesses, and advocating for sustainable ranching practices.

Piper’s artwork draws from the natural landscapes around her, including her home ranch. She practices photography, filmmaking, pottery, textile work, and temporally-based, community-centric instantaneous performances. She is deeply inspired by Native American art and practices, and draws constant inspiration from her community of fellow women in arts and agriculture.
